Bat Removal |
|
|
Because bats are
beneficial, and have one or two pups a year, protection of maternity
colonies is important to their survival. Extermination of bat
colonies should be avoided. The only safe eviction method, for both
bats and humans, is the three-step procedure called bat-proofing.
After removal, well-placed bat boxes provide
bats sanctuary outside of the building, while still providing benefits to
people through insect control.
